Daniel J. Hill, DVM

Daniel J. Hill, DVM

When I was four years old, I started telling my family I was going to be a veterinarian, and I've stuck to that goal. I grew up in Jamestown in western New York and graduated from Ashland University (Ohio) in 2000. I am a 2009 graduate of the Ohio State University and spent the first year after graduation as a solo practitioner, substituting for a vet who was deployed to Kuwait. In 2010, I purchased the Columbia Animal Clinic and look forward to serving the area in the future.

I live in Strongsville and have a house with four cats and two dogs. When I am not working, I enjoy singing with my church choir and the North Coast Men's Chorus, reading, hiking and camping. I also enjoy collecting clocks and tinkering with (repairing) them.

Hiawatha (Eddie) Adams

I am the owner and practice manager at Columbia Animal Clinic. Although you may not see me around the clinic very often, I am always behind the scenes supporting the staff and Dr. Hill. I have been with the Columbia Animal Clinic since October of 2010.

I have many years of experience in retail and administrative management. I thoroughly enjoy bringing that experience to Columbia Animal Clinic. I have a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and have always focused on technology. I use this particular skill set to increase the medical technology available to Dr. Hill and the staff, and ultimately your pets’ health care.

I use my spare time to spend time with my 2 dogs and four cats. I am an avid video game player and I enjoy remodeling projects and woodworking. You can see my hobby throughout the clinic, I really enjoy finding ways to make our small clinic look better, be more inviting and run more efficiently.

Dianna S.

Hello! My name is Dianna. I have been with Dr Hill and the Columbia Animal Clinic since October of 2011. I graduated from Stautzenberger College in 2012 with an Associates in Applied Science for Veterinary Technician. I am a Veterinary Assistant and the Office manager here at the clinic.

I am the proud pet parent of two wonderful dogs named Cooper and Jaxson, and two cats named Aidan and Morla. I have owned various other pets in the past including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, and a hedgehog.

When I am not at the clinic I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy crafts such as crochet, painting pottery, drawing, and working with my Cricut machine. I enjoy travelling and finding new places to explore.

Anna N.

Hi I’m Anna! I’ve been with Columbia Animal Clinic since 2019. I graduated from Stautzenberger college with my associates of applied science for veterinary technician and obtained my registered veterinary technician license in 2012. I have always loved animals and was frequently caught sneaking all kinds into my house as a child (Sorry mom!)

When I’m not at the clinic I love spending time with my husband, our two kids, and our mini zoo. We have 2 dogs (Blue and Squishy), 1 cat (Misty), a turtle (Tempi), a ball python ( Rassilon), and a bearded dragon (Aithusa). I also love to read, craft with my kids, and spend time outside in the warmer months.

Layla M.

I was born and raised in Cleveland before I moved to North Olmsted where I currently
reside. I am the second of five children and a lover of all animals, but most importantly of my
own cats.

I have over 8 years’ experience with handling animals, and I have been with Columbia
Animal Clinic for 6 years. I earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at Cleveland State University,
and I am currently working towards my Associates of Applied Science for Veterinary Technician
at Tri C.

Kristen T.

Hello! My name is Kristen and I have been doing Vet Assistant/Vet Tech work since I graduated high school in 2007. I graduated from Stautzenberger with an Associates of Science in Veterinary Technology in 2017.

I have a dog named Ace; we have no idea what breed he is but he looks like a Dogo Argentino. I also have a ball python named Bean. Animals have always been my passion since I was a little girl. My favorite was bringing in stray snakes from the back yard even though my mom hated it!

In my spare time, I love hanging with my two kiddos (Emilia and JD) as well as with my husband (Jake). Outside of work, you can find me fishing, camping, hiking, kayaking, shooting, hanging out with friends and riding my motorcycle with crazy helmet covers on.

Taylor P.

Hi! I’m Taylor! All my life, I have been a passionate animal lover, which is how I found myself as a veterinary assistant at Columbia Animal Clinic in 2022. There is no better feeling than being able to combine my love for animals and compassion for helping others. My ultimate goal is to pursue a career in animal rehabilitation. While I work on that, I’m grateful for the real life experience I get every day in the veterinary field.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, curling up with a book, and taking care of the small zoo that lives in my household. My house is home to many fur babies who I would do anything for, which constantly reminds me why I chose this career path

 Karen S.

I began my career in the equine industry, graduating from Lake Erie College with a bachelors in Equine Facility Management and have since loved getting to learn all aspects of animal care. That brought me to Columbia Animal Clinic in 2023 where I am a veterinary assistant and can combine my love of cats with my curiosity for learning.

I can always be counted on for a knee-slapping dad joke or to join in on karaoke night. In my free time, I enjoy doing puzzles with my cats Vandal and Juniper, or grazing my horse Daisy.

Alexis M.

Hi I’m Alexis!! I just graduated from the University of Rhode Island majoring in animal science on the pre-veterinary medicine track. I have been in and out of the vet field for four years while I have been home from school. I am so excited that I am able to continue my education by attending St. George’s University in Grenada to attain my doctor of veterinary medicine degree!

While in school I was on the division one rowing team at URI and had multiple first place finishes as well conference championships. I have been able to fulfill my love of the water through my time rowing.

When I am not rowing or studying, I love to spend my time crocheting, reading or spending time with my family and friends. I have two dogs at home, Braxton and Lincoln, that I absolutely adore.

Lauren T.

Hello! I'm Lauren and I've been in and out of the veterinary field for almost 20 years in various different roles. There hasn't been a moment in my life that I haven't had a pet and I've been passionate about animals from a young age. I love them all but I have a soft spot for pugs, black cats, and pocket pets.

In my free time I enjoy writing, listening to music, rooting for the Cleveland Guardians, and can almost always be found under my cat Revy who is my shadow.
